Palazzo Villa dei Nobili located in Sant'Agata Sui Due Golfi, once home to the nobility, is a superb hilltop retreat ideally positioned between the blue waters of Sorrento and the Amalfi coast.
Built in 1881 and furnished with an array of antiques, neoclassical artwork and painted murals, this 5-bedroom villa with a 16 x 8 meter infinity pool is the perfect place to relax with family and friends, retire and fill up and explore this beautiful part of Italy.
The Villa is located a short distance from Sorrento, 7 km away there are cobbled streets, beautiful squares and beautiful views over the water of Naples and Vesuvius. It is also the perfect base for exploring the many attractions of the Sorrentine Peninsula and beyond, including Positano, Amalfi and Ravello.
The hilltop village of Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi is just 4km away and offers a wide range of supermarkets, retail shops and several good restaurants, including the two Michelin star Don Alfonso.

Interior Description

Palazzo Villa Dei Nobili ground floor entrance opens onto the formal sitting room which boasts a selection of classic high-walled artwork and regal furnishings. The high ceilings and arched doors of the villa add to the majestic atmosphere this villa exudes. The large decorated wooden staircase, a main feature of the living room, winds its way to the second floor of the villa where the sleeping area is located.
Directly behind the staircase there is a small entrance to a stairwell that leads to the historic main tower of the villa. Rising sharply in a spiral on three levels you will arrive at the roof terrace where you can enjoy the most magnificent views of the Sorrento and Amalfi coasts simultaneously.
Returning to the villa's ground floor, you will also find a second large living room and a formal dining area, warmly furnished with comfortable armchairs and a dining table for up to 10 people. The separate eat-in kitchen is well equipped with all the appliances and equipment you need to explore the flavors of Southern Italy should you decide to organize a home chef or prepare your sumptuous meals with some local organic produce. A small staircase from the kitchen leads to a lower level bathroom with washing machine and iron and a separate double bedroom with bathroom.
The main sleeping area is located on the upper level where there are 4 double bedrooms each with private bathroom. All rooms are bright and elegantly furnished with quality fabrics and linens. Some rooms enjoy Juliette balconies, floor-to-ceiling windows, or open to the upper level balcony overlooking the pool. The original parquet floors and antique furniture offer a comfortable and peaceful atmosphere.
The kitchen and living / dining room open onto what is considered the villa's highlight, a rear patio and outdoor space which is occupied by the infinity pool. The patio is furnished with wicker chairs, tables, chairs and umbrellas and is the most suggestive place to eat outside or have a drink. There is also a barbecue and gazebo perfect if you want to organize a fresh fish grill and dinner with our in-house chef!
